- By entering the competition, you agreed that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and that they will apply to and govern your entry into the innocent fridge magnets competition (the "competition").
- Any breach of these terms and conditions may instead of will lead to your disqualification.
This competition is operated and managed by Innocent Limited (“Innocent”, “we”), a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 4004092, whose registered office is at Fruit Towers, 3 The Goldhawk Estate, Brackenbury Road, London, W6 0BA.

Terms and conditions
- How to enter
- This Competition is open to anyone over the age of 4 who is a resident of the UK or the Republic of Ireland, provided that anyone under the age of 14 must obtain the consent of their parent or guardian as directed on the Innocent website (the “Website”) prior to entering.
- No purchase is necessary in order to take part in the Competition. It is free to enter the competition and unlimited entries can be made.
- Competition entrants (“Entrants”, “You”) may only enter the competition through the Website, at innocentkids.co.uk/magnets/. Entries made by post will not be accepted.
- Entrants who live outside the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland shall not be entitled to enter the Competition.
- Parental consent
- Before you complete your entry to the Competition, we will ask you to confirm your age. If you say you are under 14 years of age, we will ask you to confirm your parent or guardian's consent to your entry to the Competition, and we will ask your parent or guardian to provide some details about you and them.
- If you provide your age inaccurately, or do not obtain the consent of your parent or guardian as requested, you will not be permitted to take part in the Competition.
- We reserve the right to verify the details provided by Entrants and to telephone any parent or guardian whose details have been provided for these purposes.
- The competition
- In order to enter the competition, Entrants must choose a letter and submit a line to the development of the story which is active on the date on which Entrant has completed its entry, as specified on the Website at innocentkids.co.uk/magnets/.
- Innocent will pick 26 entered lines per day at random, and the authors of these entered lines shall be entitled to a full set of 26 fridge magnets of letters A-Z together with vouchers to cover the cost of a smoothie multipack containing 6 x 180ml cartons together. (the 'Daily Prize').
- At the end of the competition, an independent judge engaged by Innocent shall pick what it considers to be (at its sole discretion) the best line entered on each day. The Entrant the author of the line picked by the independent judge shall be entitled to a copy of a book containing all 26 of the completed stories, signed by Francesca Simon (the 'Daily First Prize').
- The decision of Innocent in respect of the award of the Daily Prizes and the independent judge in respect of the Daily First Prize shall be final. No correspondence will be entered into with Entrants in relation to the Competition (other than to inform an Entrant that it has won a prize).
- Entries must be made and lines submitted in respect of stories active on any day during the Competition must be submitted prior to 3pm (GMT) on that day. Any entry and line submitted after this time may (at Innocent's discretion) be entered into the story active on the following day.
- The Daily First Prize and the Daily Prize shall be awarded subject to availability. No cash or alternative prizes will be offered.
- Events may occur that render awarding the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Innocent and Innocent may, at its absolute discretion, vary, amend, suspend or withdraw any prize with or without further notice
- Prizes
- Innocent will use its reasonable endeavours to inform Entrants who have won Daily Prizes or the Daily First Prize within 24 hours of the close of the relevant daily story.
- If Innocent are not able to contact a prize winner for any reason within a reasonable time of the end of daily story, it shall be entitled to declare an alternative Entrant the winner of the Daily Prize or the Daily First Prize and shall in no circumstance have any liability to an Entrant for any failure on its part to contact a winning Entrant for any reason.
- Subject to these terms and conditions, all prizes will be awarded within 6 weeks of the closing date of the competition.
- Closing date and time
- The Competition will be operated by us from the 19 October and will cease to operate the competition at 3pm (GMT) on 12 November 2009 (the “Closing Date”). Any entries submitted after this time shall not be valid and will not be capable of winning prizes.
- Innocent accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to by fully and correctly submitted by 3pm (GMT) on the Closing Date.
- Use of story lines and your details
- Each Entrant hereby agrees that Innocent is entitled to use its personal data (to the extent collected during registration) for the purposes of operating and administrating the Competition and for the purposes set out in clause 6.2.
- All winning Entrants agree that Innocent may use and publicly display their first name, age and story line on the Website and on its products for the purposes of publicising the Competition. We will not post personal data (as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998) in relation to Entrants who are under the age of 14 on the Website or any where else without the expression permission of that Entrants parent and or guardian.
- By entering this competition and agreeing to these terms, you agree to assign all intellectual property rights and other rights you may have in your story lines to Innocent. Upon submitting your storyline to the Website, Innocent will become the legal owner of the story line and has the right to use the storyline in any future promotional material.
- Each Entrant warrants that:
- in submitting his details, he has accurately represented his age and location;
- he has not falsely represented that he has provided his parent or guardian's consent;
- he has not provided any information with respect to his parent or guardian without their express consent; and
- any and all lines submitted by an Entrant are that Entrant's own original work
- Offensive material
Innocent reserves the right to remove, at its sole discretion, any material posted to the Website that is in its opinion, distasteful or which may cause offence to anyone using the Website. Any submitted line containing any such material will not be eligible to win a prize.
- General
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute in relation to them shall be subject to the courts of England.
